Usage and Limitations.
Understand the reading before you rely on it.
Everyday reference
The tools provide geometric calculations and screen-based measurements for everyday reference. They are not a substitute for calibrated instruments when fitting components, carrying out precision work or making decisions that depend on exact physical dimensions.
Display and rounding limits
A screen has a finite physical size and resolution. Alignments, zoom changes and calibration errors can affect direct measurements. Length and area readouts are normally rounded to two decimal places, and angles to one decimal place. A displayed decimal does not guarantee equivalent measurement precision.
